Managing Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) in the workplace depends on a solid health surveillance process, as defined by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). The course is suitable for anyone who wants to fulfil that role. The candidate needs to have no previous medical knowledge.
The course looks at some details into the cause of HAVS and how to recognise symptoms in order to make referrals if and when necessary. This is a highly practical course with plenty of equipment to demonstrate.
